Facial Recognition and Civil Rights

A number of groups are trying to get the federal government to curtail the use of facial recognition.  As much as I would like this to be successful, I don’t see it happening.  It certainly impacts peoples right of association, but then so does all the location data the corporations collect off of people’s cell phones (which the federal agencies undoubtedly purchase from the companies, along with the purchase history of individuals.
