Gun ownership by Black Americans is rising.
This is a good thing.
I was visiting a friend in the southwest recently and we went shooting at a local gun range. While waiting for him to arrive in his Tesla (and I mention that detail only so I can say right now that the thing reminds me of a live action Mario cart). There was a father with his two daughters. One of the daughter was complaining about her wrist due to the recoil of the handgun they were practicing with and the father just looked at her and said, “do you want to be strong or be just another brown body?” to which she answered, “strong.”
If you view life as a gift, then you have an obligation to show you appreciate that gift by defending it. If you believe you have a right to life, then you have a right to defend yourself.
