Link is here.  When the Patriot Act was passed nearly 20 years ago it expanded the surveillance state’s power and was immediately used in cases other than terrorism.  The same would happen here.  It isn’t just the fact that certain minority groups would get the brunt of this.  Everyone would get the brunt of this.  Tulsi Gabbard: It would target “almost half the country”
