I don’t care who you are. If you’re o.k. with police shooting an unarmed individual for trespassing or even “rioting” if you really think it went that far, then you are being foolish.
Someday either you or someone you love will be unarmed and in the wrong place, or doing the wrong thing according to the dictates of the police and the police can just shrug their shoulders when they kill them and try to make themselves out to be heroes.
The thing that should concern people is what happens when people no longer believe in the legal system, when they can no longer get some measure of justice from it. Where do they find recourse? What is the response to injustice then?
